Student Representative
Brandon Foley is the president of Associated Students at SF State for the 2024-25 term. Born and raised in the Bay Area in a Filipino-American and Irish immigrant household, he earned his B.S. in Computer Engineering from SF State in Fall 2023 and is currently pursuing a M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering as an SF State Scholars student.
Serving his first term on SF State's AS Board of Directors, Brandon is deeply committed to addressing issues surrounding basic needs and affordability. He is particularly focused on securing additional funding to expand and support the longevity of the Gator Groceries program, a critical AS initiative that has served more than 800 food-insecure students per week at its peak.
Professionally, he is passionate about the development and implementation of cloud-based software applications, with strong interests in the fields of product engineering and micro-learning. In his free time, he enjoys going to the gym, rock climbing, and exploring new places around the city. Brandon’s diverse background and commitment to public service drive his leadership approach, as he aims to create lasting positive impacts for the SF State community.
