President’s Designee
Christy Stevens serves as the Associate University Librarian at San Francisco State, a position she has held since 2018. Christy works closely with the University Librarian to ensure that library resources, services, programming, and spaces are meeting the teaching, learning, research, and student success needs of the university. Christy has deep connections with the CSU System, having earned a Master’s degree in Women’s Studies from San Diego State; she also served as the Associate Dean of the Library at Cal State Dominguez Hills and as a librarian at Cal Poly Pomona and Sacramento State respectively. In addition to her Master’s in Women’s Studies, Christy holds Master’s degrees in English from UC Irvine and Library and Information Science from the University of Iowa.
