Student Representative
Malhar Kansara is a junior majoring in Computer Science at San Francisco State University. He is currently serving his first term as the Director of Facilities and Operations on the Associated Students Board of Directors, where he works to enhance student spaces and ensure the campus environment reflects what students truly need and care about.
Originally from India, Malhar has found his experience at SF State to be both academically enriching and personally transformative. His passion for technology and leadership has led him to contribute to initiatives focused on wellness, food access, and student engagement.
While he remains committed to strong academic performance, Malhar is especially enthusiastic about applying his knowledge in real-world settings—whether through building full-stack applications, exploring cloud computing and AI tools, or participating in hackathons to experiment with new ideas.
He also enjoys meeting new people, listening to diverse perspectives, and finding ways to make a meaningful impact—both in the tech world and within his community.
